Don't Tell the Bride Ireland kicked off its eighth season this week (Monday, 13th February). And this series promises to be better than ever.
Just in case you didn’t know, Don’t Tell the Bride sees a bride (or in the case of one couple - Victor) hand total control of the wedding over to the groom. The groom has to plan everything from the hen, to the dress, from the stag to the wedding venue. He has to do it all in three weeks and for €10,000.
TAM ratings release the 20 most watched programmes of 2017
TAM Ireland/Nielsen have this week released the 20 most watched programmes of 2017. Six entertainment programmes featured on the list, with Room to Improve earning a place within the top 20.
IFTN's Nathan Griffin writes, “....the most impressive viewership of all must be original series and Sunday night favourite, Dermot Bannon’s ‘Room to Improve’. The show, which is in its 10th season, recorded an audience of 703,000 viewers.”

First Dates Ireland Returns to RTÉ2 for A BRAND NEW SERIES

The tables are set, the champagne is on ice, and the doors of the First Dates restaurant are ready to open up and welcome in a whole new set of singletons looking for love.
After two successful series, First Dates Ireland will be returning to RTÉ2 on Tuesday, January 9th, 2018.
In its new time slot – Tuesdays at 9.30pm – series three will be packed with unexpected revelations, drama and diversity. We’ll meet Marilyn Monroe fans and Mormons, surfer dudes and a male stripper. There'll be teen heartthrobs, flirty thirty-somethings and seductive seniors, everyone from student freshers to fresh faced septuagenarians.
Our dapper Croatian Maitre D’ Mateo will also welcome the restaurant’s first transsexual dater, first deaf dater and a brand new staff member in the form of charming waiter, Pete.
Sit back, take a deep breath and prepare to have your heart stolen!
TRADERS to Screen on BBC THREE this Christmas
The COCOtv-produced feature film, TRADERS will screen on BBC THREE on Sunday, December 24th as part of their Christmas schedule. Written and directed by Rachael Moriarty & Peter Murphy, the film has already enjoyed a long run on HBO's Cinemax channels in the US and was released nationwide in Ireland by Element Releasing in 2016.
