This weekend COCO Television was delighted to take home two prizes from this year's IFTA Gala Television Awards. The event which took place in The Double Tree by Hilton in Ballsbridge awarded the best of Irish talent across 23 different television categories.
COCO Television was nominated in four categories in total with 'First Dates Ireland' being nominated and winning 'Best Reality and Constructed Factual.' '1916: The Irish Rebellion' was nominated across three categories including Best Camera, Best Sound and took away the award for 'Best Documentary Series'.
In attendance for COCO Television were Managing Director Stuart Switzer, Head of Television Linda Cullen along with the production teams from First Dates and 1916.
Reacting to the win Linda Cullen said:
“We are absolutely thrilled with our IFTA wins. The teams here worked so hard on 1916 and First Dates, two very different productions, and it’s just great to see that hard work, expertise and quality acknowledged.”
