An Update from Team COCO

March 20, 2020

Hi all,

First, and most importantly, we hope that you’re all keeping safe and well in these difficult times.

Like so many across the globe, the coronavirus is having a pretty significant impact on work-life here in COCO. Our priority right now is the health and wellbeing of our staff, colleagues, coworkers, friends, families and anyone else we’re in contact with in any way. Because of this, we’ll be following government advice and implementing more flexible working arrangements to allow for social distancing and self-isolation. That means that most of us will be working from home for now.

We’re lucky to have a determined and dedicated team who can work remotely. We’re available as ever through email, on the phone and, as always, we’ll be online across social media. So please continue to get in touch. Our temporary contact number is: 087 270 2730.

For the past few years, we’ve been using digital casting platforms to help manage the application processes for many of our shows. This means we’re already in a good position to continue to cast for any upcoming series online with hopefully as little disruption as possible.

Casting for the new series of Home Rescue is now open and we’re taking applications online over at cococontent.ie/homerescue.

Applications for First Dates are still open as normal as well. Head to cococontent.ie/firstdates for the online application form. Do be aware that while applications are open, our matchmaking team haven’t started the process of reviewing applications just yet, so don’t be too disappointed if you don’t hear from us immediately.

Most of Room to Improve participants have already been chosen but it’s always worth applying and sending us your stories, there are a couple of slots left. None planning permission properties will be of particular interest. Go to cococontent.ie/roomtoimprove to apply.

And of course, the current series of First Dates is still be hitting your screens every Thursday. Join us in the restaurant, for some heart-warming romance and hopefully some much-needed relief, at 9.30pm on RTÉ2.  So don’t worry, we’ll still be sharing the love.

That’s it. We’ll let you know if we’ve got any updates, but for now, sit back, stick the telly on, and stay safe.

Speak to you soon,

Team COCO
