Whether it’s connecting with old friends and family or forming totally new connections, 2022 really has been a year of connecting. And what better theme for this year’s St. Patrick’s Festival than the theme of “Connections” or “Naisc”. This year we're once again calling for Irish people from all across the globe to send us a short "Happy St. Patrick's Day" video message. The videos we receive may be included in a compilation that may be featured in the annual St. Patrick’s Festival broadcast on RTÉ television and social media.
If you want to send a message back home, all you need to do is record yourself on a mobile phone, digital camera or any video device in landscape mode (turn your phone sideways!) and email it to us via email to stpatricksfestival@cococontent.ie.
Try to include a backdrop that shows your location in the world! This will help everyone at home in Ireland see where you are – e.g Statue of Liberty, Sydney Opera House etc.
Getting into the spirit of things by dressing up and wearing something green is always encouraged!
REQUIREMENTS:
- Please adhere to all Covid restrictions in place at the time of filming.
- Try to keep your video duration to within 10 and 15 seconds.
- Your clip cannot have any association with alcohol.
Once you’ve finished your video and are happy with it, you can submit it by emailing it to stpatricksfestival@cococontent.ie.
Please note: Any videos (over 20 MB) must be sent viaWeTransfer.
Please take note that by sending us your recording, you consent to your image and everyone included in the video being featured on television and across social media worldwide as part of the St Patrick's Festival celebrations 2022.
Example Message:
"Hello to everyone back home in Ireland, Happy St. Patrick's day from Dubai".
