COCO Content is one of Ireland’s leading television and media production companies. We make content for broadcasters in Ireland and the UK. Some of our most well known series include Room to Improve, First Dates Ireland and Home Rescue. We’re looking for a Social Media & Digital Producer to join our team.
As the the Social Media & Digital Producer you will be responsible for the creation and publishing of multimedia content related to COCO’s productions across relevant social media channels and the COCO website. You will work closely with production teams and the social media and web departments of each broadcaster to coordinate social media and digital strategy related to each production. Your job will be to help support our key TV programmes, documentaries and films with specialised social media activity designed to drive viewership, engage our audiences, and give them a richer entertainment experience.
You will also oversee and manage the COCO website and online casting platform, Submit.com. Creating content for both platforms and keeping them up to date with the latest information related to every production.
In this role you will also act as a brand guardian for the COCO brand; ensuring its uniformity across digital and traditional media and ensure you, the wider team at COCO and third parties are complying with the company’s brand guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Concept, design and create multimedia content (images, animations, video, audio) related to COCO’s television and other production and publish to social media and the COCO website.
Cut ‘social media promos’ from final programmes and supply to broadcasters.
Schedule social media content and moderate social channels.
Generate unique, cost effective ways to promote COCO’s productions across the web
Maintain and update the COCO website with the most up to date content about the company and its activities
Write news articles/blog posts and create multimedia content to sit within these posts.
Resize images for the various placeholders across the COCO website.
Design and oversee the printing of various hardcopy materials such as basic production props, headed paper and compliments slips. Ensuring the COCO brand is displayed correctly and protected where applicable.
Represent the COCO brand online and answer any audience queries related to any of COCO’s productions that come through social media.
Manage and oversee COCO’s use of the online casting platform Submit.com; working with the platform’s development team, the public and production teams to ensure the platform is being used correctly and to troubleshoot any issues.
Using digital ad campaigns to boost posts, reach and engagement and working along side COCO’s financial controller on ad budgets and spend across social media.
Reporting web and social media analytics and budgetary statistics to members of the wider COCO team when needed.
Working with brands, sponsors and/or broadcasters to develop supplementary digital campaigns and activations.
Requirements:
Graphic design; strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign.
Social Media; familiarity with using Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube, Vimeo for business.
Editing; moderate editing skills to clip down episodes, top and tail video with branded end-boards
Photography and videography; strong ability to shoot still and video material for online content
Familiarity with all necessary file formats and export settings required when exporting video/images and other multimedia content for the web.
Good knowledge of the Squarespace Content management system.
The ability to write news articles and casting call out materials for the web.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS along with basic web functionality and design trends.
The ability to work across various teams simultaneously while also being able to take initiative and work alone.
Good knowledge of the TV and digital media industries in Ireland and a keen interest in global trends across TV and the digital space;
BA in Multimedia, Communications, Journalism or similar
