First Dates Ireland Series 2

First Dates Ireland is back.

January 19, 2017

Tonight, 'First Dates Ireland' returns to the small screen. At 9:30pm on RTÉ2, what is arguably the most famous restaurant in Ireland, will swing open its doors to a new bunch of singletons looking for love.

Filmed over six days at The Gibson Hotel in Dublin, this year's production saw over 600 daters enter the restaurant looking for love. The new series will feature 12 episodes in total with Maître D' Mateo Saina at the helm of proceedings.

His side-kicks, barman Ethan and waitress Alice are also back to help ease our daters into what is one of the most intense meals of their lives.

This year viewers can look forward to more fun and frolics from the restaurant including cousins double dating, more bathroom chats and it wouldn’t be Ireland if we didn’t have a couple of daters that didn’t recognise each other from previous encounters.

If you are interested in taking part in the next series of First Dates Ireland, you can fill out an application to be a 'main dater' here or you can register your interest to be a background dater in the restaurant here.

First Dates Ireland will run for 12 weeks on RTÉ2 at 9:30pm and is supported by on-going social media content published through RTÉ2 social channels alongside RTÉ Player 'Extras' following broadcast.
